Google set a 27 minute timer9/13/2023 I’ve used them in brainstorming activities and writing challenges. After the timer finishes the screen is turned off and the students have to work together to remember the information. I’ve used them for memory exercises. I give the students X amount of time to remember the information on the screen. What the students have to remember varies. The disadvantage of video timers is that they will only play on one slide and not throughout the duration of the presentation. This is especially useful if you are displaying activity instructions. They can be inserted into any presentation software (as long as you can insert video files), they can be formatted and re-sized, and your presentation will still be visible. Video timers have a number of advantages. Example of a video timer inserted into the corner of a presentation – PowerPoint 2013 My previous post covered some of the basic principles, but I want to write a second installment that deals with longer timers. They vary from questions about how to add a countdown timer in PowerPoint, to setting a countdown timer for a specific time and how to make a timer in PowerPoint. Since then I have noticed that there have been several search terms that focus on PowerPoint timers. You would have to create your own timers for a presentation or install a flash image. Luckily, I have already produced some templates.Ī while back, ELT-cation asked me about PowerPoint timers for a presentation event, so I produced some 20 Second Timers and wrote a page about how to create PowerPoint timers. You could connect a smartphone timer to a projection screen by using a display adapter, but you couldn’t incorporate it into a presentation. However, if you are giving a presentation and you want to display a timer on a slide, what can you do? Screenshot of the timer available on the iPhone Timers are great and there are a lot of apps out there available for smartphones and tablets and most phones have timers built into them. Arnold blueprint to mass bodybuilding9/13/2023 It’s important to note that Arnold prescribed different rep ranges when training back. Week 4 – 1 x Failure (on a major compound lift) then, 1 x 20, 15, 12 on the remaining exercises. The rep ranges would often differ every week.īelow is a summary of the reps to be performed in the subsequent weeks in Phase 1. It is recommended that when you are performing the incline barbell bench press in Phase 1, you should use a low angle incline in Week 1, a medium angle incline in Week 2, a high angle incline in Week 3 and finally a low angle incline in Week 4. The above rounds off Week 1 for Phase 1 and 2 of the Blueprint to Mass workout.Īrnold believed you should continually challenge yourself and to keep your body guessing so as to avoid plateauing in your training. Olympias, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ‘Golden Era’ physique is still the elucidation of perfection. It is still largely agreed that despite there being many Mr. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Blueprint to Mass Review Best rechargeable cr123 batteries9/12/2023 Much less frequent once the scope has warmed up. And owning IR thermals, I can tell you that warm up takes a while and the NUC requirements at start up are frequent. On cycling the scope on and off between target opportunities, a VP from IR Defense told me that for their thermals, depending on the frequency of the cycling, it is very likely that you will get longer battery life just leaving the scope on because start up drain is high. I haven't used any of them, so it may be because of higher drain, or to prolong change out interval. If you look at various options on the military side, some of them do have more capacity. I think weight and bulk have a lot to do with limiting the battery capacity. Rechargeable batteries typically have a higher voltage when fully charged than a non rechargeable version and when empty have a lower voltage than a non rechargeable. The problem as I understand it is voltage fluctuations between a fully charged battery and an empty one. If ya consider the real numbers, over the ~1200ish round useful life of a $3-600 quality barrel, you only got to use it for like 1.5 seconds or some such. Not sure how the slight increase in power cycling like that may effect that battery life.Īnd as a side note about "math best not thought about" this somehow reminds me of a competitive bench rest rifle barrel. That said, when my intended scenario of a spotter/scope situation comes to fruition, in theory I may only be powering the scope up when a potential target is located with the spotter? Which would mebbe result in only needing a short battery life and shifting the priority to less bulk/weight. I'm just curious where the relatively short life of the on board power is useful. Good point about the extra power being an option. I aim to be less ignorant as I go thru this life. Stuff like this just piques my curiosity. But I may be mistaken.Īnother point may be that if the battery compartment was made to fit a rechargeable, with the weight difference there being pretty negligible, how much weight would the voltage leveling circuitry really add to the unit? And could this still allow for the use of one time use batts? I'm sure it's been hashed out in design. It was my understanding that the newer rechargeables had on board circuitry to help with those voltage levels over the life of a discharge. That overcharge/power condition was mentioned in one of Mr Wig's posts I believe concerning freshly charged batteries. Enough that it was somewhat overwhelming. I've seen a dizzying array of data concerning voltage output of various batteries both rechargeable and single use. Yessir, a lot of that makes perfect sense. I'd rather be able to bolt on a larger fuel tank when wanted easily vs HAVING to carry it around at all times. As to why they don't just include that circuitry in the scope itself and replace that 5 gallon gas tank with a 45 gallon version. The reason the rechargeable pack works is the circuitry that keeps the output voltage much more steady than individual batteries. 3v over the max input voltage and cause the magic smoke to escape. This may cause an overloaded circuit by being. Now if you use rechargeables they may start full at 5.6v and finish empty at 3.0v. For example, and I'm making numbers up for this example: your thermal scope has a voltage input range of 5.3v to 3.2v and 2 standard non rechargable cr123's provide a voltage range of full at 5.2v and empty at 3.4v. Lots of electronics are pretty sensitive even to small voltage changes outside of what they're designed for. Chromecast vs roku in india9/12/2023 Amazon's Fire TV Stick 4K Max isn't hard to use, but compared to the Chromecast, it makes finding quality content more of a chore. It beats Roku and Fire TV devices with a more polished and effective user interface that expertly serves up content you'll enjoy watching. With a price tag that's a third of the cost of an Apple TV, it even gives Apple's streaming box a run for its money. It has wide-ranging compatibility across apps, platforms, and devices, speedy performance, a simple and sensibly laid-out remote, and both Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos support. Google's Chromecast with Google TV is still the best streaming stick you can get for $50.Our pick: Google Chromecast with Google TVĪrs Technica may earn compensation for sales from links on this post through affiliate programs.Below, we've taken a new look at how each of the major players' main streaming sticks now compare. In other words, Roku and Amazon had a lot of ground to make up for in their latest OS updates. Google's interface looked better, too, and the stick was easier to operate in just about every way. In our 2021 comparison, it handily beat both Roku's and Amazon's offerings when it came to search and serving up useful content suggestions. Google's Chromecast hardware hasn't changed since its September 2020 release. The Streaming Stick 4K+ adds Roku's Voice Remote Pro, which offers a rechargeable battery, shortcut buttons, and a lost remote siren for $20 more. The new Streaming Stick 4K, like Amazon's Fire TV Stick Max, has a more powerful processor and Wi-Fi radio than its predecessor. Roku's Streaming Stick+, which we tested in the last version of this comparison, has been replaced by a pair of streaming sticks: the Roku Streaming Stick 4K and Roku Streaming Stick 4K+. Amazon's new Fire TV Stick 4K Max brings Wi-Fi 6 support, an updated remote, and slightly beefier internals than the standard Fire TV Stick 4K. Twitter archive tweets9/12/2023 You can send your request through the twitter profile, and once you receive the email that the data is ready, you can download it as a zip file. In this way, you would g to that person tweets only, and it will help you narrow down the search.Īpart from the methods mentioned above, you can also find your twitter data on its archive. You can also find all archive from the specific account by putting the username just after the website name with a slash, for example, /username. So, you can go to this kind of site and type in the deleted tweets text in their search bar. One way to see and find the deleted tweets is to look for them in the website that already crowded and archived millions of tweets like,. This would help you to narrow down your search If you want google to find that text on the Twitter website adds the website address before the text, for example, site: I lost my tweets. It means you should look for other tweets with the same topic.Īs I have mentioned before, it is unlikely that you can find the deleted tweets anywhere, but you can search on google to find the similar or exact text by putting the text in “….”. Nonetheless, here I would mention some of the ways that you can look for some data on Twitter, which is the better and fastest way to find similar tweets. So, if you are looking for someone else deleted tweets or for Donald Trump’s deleted tweets, I assure you that it is impossible unless you find similar posts. The first thing I must make you sure about is, unfortunately, you are not able to recover the deleted tweets, but you can find the similar tweets that others have published. You might wonder which kind of tweets can be searched or viewed once you or someone else removed it? Let’s start with a short brief about the possibility of recovering the deleted tweets. It might happen for users to delete their tweets on purpose or accidentally, and recovering the tweets becomes an issue. Since 2011 twitter has become the most popular short-text social media. Sequential sdlc model9/12/2023 The waterfall model can be used for small projects and for projects with clear requirements. Spiral model operates on iterations so it is possible to go back to the previous phases. In waterfall model, after completing a phase and reached a new phase, it is not possible to go back to the previous phase. The customer has an awareness of what the product is. In spiral model, the customer involvement is high. In waterfall model, the customer involvement is minimum. The spiral model is a risk driven process model generator for software projects. The waterfall model is a relatively linear sequential design approach to develop software projects. What is the Difference Between Waterfall and Spiral Model? Those are some drawbacks of the spiral model. Also, it is not a suitable model for small projects. The risk analyzing might require expert employees and the spirals might take a long time. It provides more control towards all phases of development. It is suitable for a project that requires continuous risk analysis. Spiral model is more suitable for large and complex projects. Again the project goes through the above phases. If the customer approved, the project can continue to the next spiral. In the evaluation phase, the output is shown to the customer to get a feedback. In the Engineering phase, software development and testing occur. A prototype is produced at the end of this phase. If there are any risks, alternative solutions are suggested. Risk analyzing phase is to identify the risks associated with the project. The Software Requirement Specification (SRS) is developed using the gathered requirements. Identifying the system and subsystem requirements are done in this phase. Finally, new enhancements and further improvements are added to the product in the maintenance phase. After the testing is completed, the product is released to the market. Each unit is tested and all the units are integrated into a complete system and tested in the integration and testing phase. In the implementation phase, the system is developed in small units. The system design helps to define the overall system architecture. This document is called the Software Requirement Specification (SRS). In this phase, the requirements necessary for the project is collected and analyzed. The first phase is to the requirement gathering and analysis. The outcome of one phase becomes the input for the next phase. In this approach, the whole software development process is divided into phases. There is no overlapping between the phases. One phase starts after the completion of the previous phase. Waterfall model is a software development process model with a linear sequential flow. Side by Side Comparison – Waterfall vs Spiral Model in Tabular Form Waterfall and Spiral Model are two of them. These models are known as software development process models. There are various software development life cycle models which can be followed during the software development process. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is a process followed by a software organization to develop a software project. The key difference between waterfall and iterative model is that waterfall model is used for smaller projects and projects with clear requirements while the spiral model is used for large, complex projects that require continuous risk analyzing.
